Projects, Garden and a Friend

Josie always wants to work on a project or come up with a new idea of some kind.
Last night she wanted to make a treat, so she put jelly on tortillas and then cut up apple and pears and rolled the fruit up in the tortillas for everyone to taste. They were good!

I have showed her how to sew by hand. I gave her a needle and thread and some felt I had and she made these two pillows. She loves to do it. She is doing well with the stitches and always wants to practice. I took the stuff on our road trip and it kept her busy in the car. (Pictures with road trip post) She is over the pillows and wants to make something else now that we are home. Would welcome ideas! I am a beginner sewer, started three years ago. I had to with my kids being in lots of plays. Have to sew costumes! But I have really enjoyed it!

Josie's garden is still growing well. Here is a update!

Pumpkin's vine growing long.

Sunflowers so tall!

We thought this one was a gone, but it blossomed again!

Friend
K came over for a visit and they searched for rocks and then washed them!
