Makenzye's Decision is Made...for now!

Makenzye got another opportunity, since my last post, about her moving out. Tim's brother and his wife in Garden Grove (1 city over) have offered her to live with them. She was going to choose to live with them. They lived only 5 to 10 minutes away. They then had the opportunity to sell their place and rent a bigger house(owned by Tim's other brother), until they find another one to buy. But it is 20 to 30 minutes away from our home and the other direction of her work in Long Beach. She didn't want to bus it or have me go way out of the way to take her to school and work. She now has her driver's permit and wants to wait until she gets her license and save for a car of her own. I really don't enjoy all of the driving I have done since they became teenagers. (I did enjoy it during the heat wave, the cars have AC our house does not.) We are happy to have her with us longer!

You have turned into a lovely young women. We are so proud of you and all of the decisions you have made to get you where you are and that will lead you to where you are going. We have seen so much change in you the last year...a maturity that you are stepping up to becoming and accepting that you are an adult and are taking responsibility for yourself. I know you will remember who you are and to always know that the Lord is with you always!
