Changing Times!

Well, things around here have changed. First, Makenzye got her DRIVERS LICENSE! Hurray! It was kinda weird the first time she left by herself. Wasn't worried, just felt weird. She even took her siblings out for frozen yogurt! Have to admit it is nice not dropping her off at work and picking her up at 1 to 3 in the mornings.
Second, Makenzye has now moved out. She has moved to the LA area with my parents. She already has her classes at the community college by them and her work is about the same distance away. It is about halfway between us and my parents. So, for now she will keep that job and my parents have a car that she is using as her own. She now as her own room too, which she loves! We are grateful that she has this opportunity to be on her own with her independence. I miss her a lot but tried not to dwell on it much, knew it would come eventually. She has been around a few times and uses us as a pit stop, but that is OK with me.

What has made is even more weird is...I have got a taste of what it will be like to have Addison on a mission. He has been gone for 2 weeks now in Italy. He went with Tim's Aunt and Uncle. We have not been able to talk to him for all that time. I miss him so much, everyone does! We have gotten a couple of Facebook posts, but that is it. We are so excited to be picking him up tonight!!! Hopefully he took a lot of pictures like I asked!

Savannah has got a summer job. She works with Nancy's Photography. She is the lady that shoots the MYART shows. Savannah is enjoying it a lot. She travels with her to shows and works together editing the pictures they take. She is teaching her a lot.

We have been enjoying our summer and staying busy, but still having those stay at home days too! Josie and Dina keep me busy, balancing their needs. The thing I continue to learn( in my old age) is not to sweat the small stuff, yet enjoy all the small stuff. It doesn't have to be BIG just special!!!

We are all adjusting well to our changes! Will be working on catching up with all pictures one by one!
