Josie's Pet Day!
Since we do not have a pet, Josie decided to share "Peaches" my Dad's dog. He was our dog before we moved, but couldn't take her so my Dad kept her. We left her before Josie was born, so she only knows her from my Mom and Dad's place. My dad was willing to bring her down a few days before school was out. Peaches has always been great with kids and is the best dog! The kids all loved her and Josie answered all the questions asked. Peaches is a mix of dogs. We think mostly Golden Retriever. Her Mom was a stray, friends of ours took in and then 2 weeks later had 9 puppies. She is 11 years old.

She thought she should have some food in there. She said she wasn't sure how long she would be in it! :) She is making butter, honey and sugar bread!


Josie's Cake!
She wanted to make a cake, we had no eggs! She wanted to make it anyway and see what happens and find out why we need eggs in a cake. She found out that it is drier and thick...not light and fluffy. She still ate it and liked it, just had to have lots of milk to wash it down.




Josie's Ball Ramp
We got rid of a cabinet, but kept these shelves from it. Josie has made good use of them. She made this ball ramp. Taking all the bouncy balls we had to see which of them would make it down and then up again. Here are videos of some of them!
