Haircut...Plus a OUCH!!!!

Addison finally got a haircut...I love the fresh short look on my boy!


Addison went with the youth of church on a 20 mile hike through the city. Starting in Huntington Beach to Newport Beach. They started at our stake building and ending at the Newport Beach Temple. Addison said it was a very grueling walk. Hot, very tired feet, and aching body. He was sunburned on his face and neck and some chaffing. He said he applied sunblock several times. After putting aloe on his neck and face he went right to bed about 7pm. They had met that morning at 630am. The red was gone on his face and neck the next morning. He couldn't understand why his ears were still bothering him so much. He felt them and felt weird soft bumps on them. He went to the mirror and saw this...


He did not lotion his ears. He was used to his hair covering his ears till his haircut the day before.
So they were in the sun....ALL DAY LONG NO PROTECTION! He had second degree burn blisters on each ear. The worst was along the top of both ears. Cream has helped and they are healing well. Yuck, ouch and very gross!
