Josie loves to be creative. Here is a couple of things she has done recently.
I save egg cartons for her to use as a paint tray. They work great...we are recycling, with easy throw away, no cleaning. She decided to make a game out of it this time. She put numbers in the holes and on the things that divide the holes. A tossing game with points. I guess we should use rings to get the higher numbers.
She decided she wanted to draw a bird. She did. She asked if she could paint it. Of course I said "yes". I let her be her creative self a lot...maybe that is why she thinks she should always be in charge. She wants to make all the decisions.
After she had finished I asked her if she drew it looking at a bird or not. She asked " What do you think"? I said "I don't know that is why I asked". "Of course not looking at one" she said. Oh! Well, excuse me! The smearing of the paint happened when I asked her to go over her writing with a marker, she had wrote it in pencil. I wanted it to be brighter. He whole arm was filled with paint and she blamed me of course! She is one tough cookie.
