BUSY BUSY!

Things have been CRAZY! In addition to getting back to the school schedule...Josie started her production or Tech week with the play "Wizard of Oz" she is in with MY ART! Tech week involves the week before opening show. There is rehearsal on stage every night. Used to get our any snags and perform on the stage a few times. Knowing the cues and so forth. It is crazy but necessary. I am helping back stage for all the shows I don't watch..which is only 1. So I had to be there too. It is a lot, but wonderful to see the show come together. All the hard work paying off. Will post pictures of the play soon. Can't take during the show..professional takes and we have to buy. Did take some from the holding room. The little ones enter only 4 times not counting the finale and are on only a few minutes. So we spend a lot of time in the dressing/holding rooms. I am a line leader for Josie's group. Fun huh? This weekend is the last 4 shows...Whew! But it has been fun and Josie as enjoyed every minute of it. Even Addison, Tim, Makenzye and Savannah helped backstage. Addison as stage crew, Tim as spotlights, Savannah helped once with make-up and Makenzye helped once with Line Leaders. Poor Makenzye was left home alone during the recent earthquake. That is the 3rd time she has been alone at home when they hit. She hates them. Savannah and Addison have started the West Arts production of "Oliver" through Stacey Clegg. Addison as a participate and Savannah as staff! And Addison starts his Music Factor again next week! I'm tired typing about it all!
