My birthday week was wonderful. Makenzye took me out to eat, my hubby took me out to eat, my brother and mom took me too! My friend, Dar who always makes me a cherry chip cake with cherry frosting came through as always too! I got my awesome emails, texts, and phone calls from loved ones. Got a little money to spend on myself. I really think I spent it on me this year! :) Then of course all the FB birthday wishes! So awesome!
My Mom and bro Shaun at Benihana's!
Josie and I got to go to see the play "Wicked", later in the month of my birthday! The women at church got together to get a great group rate. I decided to take Josie with me, cause I knew she would like it. And we both loved it. Every time we would clap Josie would also scream at the top of her lungs with glee!! A birthday present to me and I got to share it with Josie. The older 3 had already seen it. Tim only likes musicals with our kids in them.
BUT ON MY ACTUAL BIRTHDAY, I DID THIS!
I awoke to this sigh hanging by my bed! What a hardship for me to take the sign's orders...hehehehe!
Then I was presented with this wonderful breakfast made by Josie!
Josie wanted to make sure I had a cake! She made this quickly with what we already had in the house, while I was gone to lunch with my Dad! It was really yummy!! Such a sweet girl! She didn't want me posting on FB, so I put it here on the blog! :)
For lunch, my dad took me out! Our birthdays are only 1 day apart and I have always enjoyed celebrating with him.
This strawberry lemonade was very good and I loved drinking it from a mason jar!
Yummy appetizer...a haystack of onion rings!
I love my Dad!!!!
That night I got to hang out with my friend M and saw her niece and nephew in a play production of "The Little Mermaid"!
...and then we headed to Cherry on Top!!
It was a wonderful birthday!
Tim and I got to get away this year for our anniversary. It was our 22nd! Seems like so long...yet has gone by fast! We look at our kids and still are amazed that they are ours! I am so happy to be married for time and all eternity to him. He tells me I'm beautiful and that he loves me everyday. I am so glad that he puts up with me...yes I can be moody! No comments from my brothers please! We have our differences but we agree where it counts the most. The differences make it interesting and I think we complement each other well! As couples we need to get away from our everyday lives to appreciate more and make sure we still like each other. With busy schedules so easy to lose touch with each other.
We decided to stay kinda local. We like to visit places we never see yet are so close to. We don't spend as much on gas, so we can go out to eat for every meal and relax! We stayed in Fullerton/Brea/ Placentia area. We discovered downtown Brea and like it a lot. We saw 2 movies, my pick then his pick! Enjoyed restaurants we never get to go to, and just plain uninterrupted and relaxing time together.
Waiting at Olive Garden!
This is the theater we saw 2 movies at...one on each day! I picked "Admission" and he picked "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone". We both liked "Admission" better. We saw some good previews and are looking forward to a date night to see the next "Star Trek" movie.
Walking around we spotted this cat!!
Waiting outside for our movie to begin. The weather was beautiful!
Of course we got shakes...chocolate for him and strawberry for me! It was a new place we have never been called Bruxie Gourmet Waffle Sandwiches. The food looked good, have to head back some time.

Happy birthday and anniversary! I remember when you two got engaged and I thought it was so neat how Tim proposed to you at Disneyland and you guys had a Disney themed wedding right? Looks like you had a great bday and anniversary!
Yep, and we went to Disney World on our honeymoon! :)
