Tim's parents wanted to celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary by taking all of their kids and their families on a cruise. So, off we went Thanksgiving Week 2012 on a 7 day cruise to Mexico! We were all very excited! We were not disappointed!! Really, we all had the best time! There was plenty to do for everyone! Definitely recommend them! BEWARE, long post! :D Hopefully I will get a post up soon of all the videos and karaoke!
Before the crazy boarding process started.
Watching from our own balconies as we head out to the ocean.
Long Beach Harbor
Josie sitting in our window looking out on our balcony at the open sea!
Our first night at dinner in the dining room with our assigned table.
Each night we got one of these towel animals when they turned down the beds for the evening.
This was the last night, and our favorite!!
Josie spent some time in the kids arcade.
She played air hockey with Uncle Mick!
Savannah took her too!
Land Ho! The kids watching as we make out first stop in Cabo San Lucas! Lounging and taking pictures on top until we can leave the ship!
Josie loved the boat ride!
Right after getting off the Tender boat in Cabo San Lucas!
Of course Josie spotted this crabs below the docks!
In Cabo San Lucas , see our "tiny" ship between Savannah and Addison's head? Grandma got in the second picture!
As we were heading back to the ship we saw these fishing boats with seals jumping on the back to beg for fish.
They had a water park on the top of the ship! Savannah and Josie where the only ones to take advantage of it. Josie loved hanging out with Savannah. She had really missed her for the three months she had been gone. They also had a walking/running track and Josie loved to walk the track with Grandma!
This was the view from the water park!
A water slide too!
Several Pools and Jacuzzi s
My babies...not babies anymore!
On the beach of Puerto Vallarta. We got off the boat together the first time and didn't find a beach we could walk to. We walked far! Then some went off again at different times and finally found a beach we could go to without being a hotel patron.
First time off the ship in Puerto Vallarta.
MIL and I
Finally found the beach!
Makenzye getting her hair braided.
Puerto Vallarta marketplace with our ship right behind!
Watching the dock of Puerto Vallarta disappeared at the back of the boat together!
Josie loved the dance parties that they had! She went crazy!
One night after Savannah and I saw a show together. It was awesome! We loved it so much and knew everyone else would too. So we went the the rooms and took them to the later show. Josie was already in her jammies as you can see. While waiting for the doors to open, Savannah and Josie took some pictures at the photo booth near by.
This is the souvenir that Addison bought in Cabo San Lucas, a shrunken head! As you can see, he is enjoying it very much!
Formal Dining Night
Walking the upper decks and taking pictures.
I took a panoramic picture on top of the boat with Makenzye's camera!
In the room, lights made everything yellow/orange!
Seriously, there was SO MUCH food.
We all loved the 24 hour self/soft serve ice cream/yogurt and 24 hour pizza parlor.
Josie
especially loved the ice cream, we lost count how many she had, each one got bigger and
bigger.
(that is Papa beside her)
Savannah and I loved the Sushi Bar.
I loved the sugar free cheese and chocolate strawberries!
Tim, Addison and Makenzye loved this dessert. Molten Lava Cake with Ice Cream. It is pretty much a cake not all the way cooked with it still gooey in the middle!
Tim's
parents took the kid adults, no grandchildren, to the only pay
restaurant on the ship. The grand kids went to the buffet together.
Tim got this awesome Chocolate Sampler Dessert!
Outside walking the decks after our "Adult Only" meal!
Hayley and Josie at dinner with Makenzye, Savannah and Addison!
Random Pics of the Makenzye, Savannah and Addison. They were on their own with their own rooms too. We meet up at least once or twice a day for a meal, shows and excursions too!
