Remembering Tina Love!

Tina is Tim's cousin. His dad and her mom, are brother and sister. She was a great inspiration to me. She had been through a lot, a lot of bad stuff thrown her way.  She was an extremely strong women through everything. Sometimes we don't make the best decisions when life gets hard but she always had a positive look on life and kept going, always trying to do what is right.  Even after she found out she had cancer...she didn't give up always fighting and made sure her kids knew she loved them and how special they are. She let everyone know that she loved them and was grateful for them in her life. She had no regrets and was at peace.

This is what Tim wrote about her.
My cousin Tina Marie Love, was more like a big sister to me. Some of my earliest memories include walking to and from elementary school with her. Also, every time my dad would take me to my Grandparents’ house, I would always hope my cousins were there. I remember playing with both of them (Tina & Tana).
As a teenager, I didn’t see Tina as much – but I still did see her on occasion. She was even the “manager” of my band “Caution”. Several of my band mates had crushes on her, and I could see why because she was a very beautiful young lady.
She became a mother, and I remember playing with her son Michael, daughter Sam, and a while later Maya.  She seemed to be very happy at the time.
Life sometimes hit Tina hard, and when it did, my Grandmother was there to catch her. They were made for each other. I really believe that. And they were great for each other. They needed each other I believe.
When Tina got cancer she faced it as good as a person can. The last time I saw her she told me that she had made peace with her God, and everyone else. She no longer had regrets or any bad feelings. Though she was suffering in pain, and knew she wouldn’t live to see her youngest grow up, she actually seemed happy.
I know that my life was blessed to have known, loved, and been loved by Tina Love. I look forward to our eventual reunion.
I love you Tina!,
Your cousin Tim
