July 4th!

Addison was with a friend and her family....he doesn't take pictures! :/                       

 Savannah was at a block party.....they swam....

Ate these....

They lit some on their own..... (she was nervous...has never lit one before)

 went to the park....

 

  and watched some too!

Josie and I (Tim watched) did all of these while it was still light.....

Enjoying the porch swing for a bit!

Waiting for it to get dark!

Finally we started our walk to the bridge near us over the freeway.

We saw lots of fireworks near and far and from every way we turned...it was pretty cool.

Even stopped to watch others lights theirs on our walk home!

On our walk to the bridge over the freeway I got to close to the railing that had a screw sticking out and this is what it did to my leg.  Josie was very interested in taking care of it.

So when we got home she washed it...

 

and cleaned it out with water and a cotton swab...

Then she applied an aloe plant...

and gave me a couple of band aids!

And it healed nicely even though I have a scar, no worries have plenty of those. Great job Josie!
