Church Camp-out
We were all looking forward to going camping again. It had been several years since we went as a family. We went to a local park that let church groups or scouts camp-out overnight. Savannah, Josie and I headed out, Addison was sick. Makenzye was going to come, but then got a new job and started her training. Tim was meeting us there after work. Tim went home to sleep and came back for Josie and I in the morning. Because of his back and sleep apnea he went home and Savannah's friends didn't stay the night so she went home with Tim. So, it was just Josie and I. We had a great time! I want to take her again soon! Many people signed up but didn't come. The date had to change, so many cancelled. They said they were going to do it again next year!!

The next morning Heidi and Josie wandered around exploring....
and found these flowers! Does anyone know what kind they are? I did not know but we found out. A very unique looking flower! Others went looking for there own...but no more could be found!

They had a whole big bushy vine of those flowers the girls found growing near the front parking lot at Peary Middle School. I remember looking them up back when I taught there, but I can't remember the name anymore. Maybe it will come to me later.
Our kids want to camp so much, but it is too hot here, and I can't even imagine surviving a night with Isaac away from home!
