Temple Blessings!
I am so thankful for temple blessings and knowing I am sealed to my family forever and not just till death do we part! The temple is wonderful and so glad I have the opportunity to receive of it's blessings! I am thankful I am sealed to my parents, brothers and Tim and my kids!
I remember when I was 5 years old and I went to the temple to be sealed to my parents and younger brothers. The biggest memory was in the nursery, they would not let me hold my brother who was 6 months old. He was crying and reaching for me...but they would not let me try to hold him. I guess because I was only 5. I remember being taken to my parents, and many people, not who they were, just many people there. :)
I remember being sealed to Tim and having Makenzye sealed to us. She was only 6 weeks old. She was smiling the whole time (through her pacifier), she knew what was happening, I am sure!
I remember attending two of my nieces sealings once their adoptions were final. It was beautiful and my heart felt so full of love and happiness!
I also attended my brothers sealings to their wives and was a very proud big sister. I am pretty sure I have learned so much more from my brothers then I have taught them!
That is how I feel every time I enter the temple. It gives me the peace and tranquility I need to endure to the end with whatever trials are in my life!
My brother Scott and his wife, Anaise!
My brother, Scott, who is just 2 years younger then me has just graduated from nursing school. He has already graduated earlier with a BA then went back to school! He did this while raising his family of 7 kids with his wife, Anaise, who was very supportive so it allowed him to do so. They are amazing and wonderful parents! They work together loving their kids and instilling in them how important the family unit is! He has always been a great example to me! He is talking about going back for his Masters! :) I always think about going back to school but let excuses get in my way. He is my example that there are no excuses...I am just scared at how hard it would be! I have around 15 units left for an AA. Might be more since it has been so many years. Thanks a lot Scott! :/
Being an Aunt!
I say it all the time and mean it every time...I absolutely love being an aunt. Love to watch them, take care of them and just be around them! I now have 11 nieces and 5 nephews! I LOVE each and everyone of them so much. It saddens me I can not see them all more, but feel very blessed to be able to take care of Dina during the week! I truly love having her around. I love making stuff for them! It is right up there with being a mother for me....WONDERFUL!!!!
In order of age....Ashley, Kara, Kyler, Emily, Sara, Hayley, Megan, Sandra, Jacob, Julie, Alyssa, Camden, Rawlings, Heidi, Dina and Isaac! I love you!!
