CHEP had an activity planned for 3-8 graders called A Walk Through of California! i signed Josie up. She had a great time. It was for 2 hours for 2 days. They learned the history of California in different ways that made it fun! Josie said they had a time machine to get to each place. :) They were asked to dress up and learn a couple of facts about an assigned time and place. I asked her if an Native American Indian would be OK. She said yes, it was probably the one I could pull of without having to buy anything. I sewed yarn on a shirt and skirt she already had! Now I am talking her into adjusting it a bit to be a cowgirl for Halloween! :) But she may not fit in it anymore. :(
She planted strawberries, but they spilled in the wind and rain outside and she never replanted. Was very upset about it.
Josie making the pancake recipe from her cookbook. She said that her plan for the year is to make everything in the book, even if she doesn't like it.
