MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!
The Love Family 2011
TIM has just started his 3rd year at LSI Title Company as an accounting analyst. He enjoys the job but NOT the commute. He is currently playing his 18th year with The Beatless. That’s a lot of years for a Rock & Roll band! He still leads music at church and enjoys doing that. He is looking forward to performing in “Beauty and the Beast” with Savannah, Addison, and Josie. Once again he has been mis-cast as “Crazy Old Maurice” instead of “Gaston”! It’s ALWAYS an honor to perform with my kids. In addition to being a husband and father, he loves being an uncle – and now there are so many young ones around its even funner (yes, I know funner AIN’T a word!) Lastly, Tim is very happy to have celebrated 20 years of wedded bliss with his eternal companion Debbie!
DEBBIE stopped subbing at Westminster School District Food Service at the end of the school year last year. Tim’s brother, Mick and his wife Amorita asked if she would take care of their new daughter, Dina. She loves being an aunt so much, so of course was thrilled and started watching her in June. She finished out the school year subbing when they called. Everyone took turns watching Dina for the 3 hours she worked, till school was out. Dina keeps her busy and she loves taking care of her. She is still leading the young children at church when they sing. She still loves to take pictures, scrapbook, sew and craft. She loves to play board games or cards with family (especially Josie) and friends! Playing games on her phone and reading are also great pastimes in the car while she waits during pickups as the taxi. Savannah introduced her to Sushi and she loves it too! She says Ditto to the last sentence of Tim’s paragraph!
MAKENZYE finished two semesters of community college here and got her driver’s license. In June she moved out of our home into the home of Debbie’s parents. Debbie’s parents had a car for her to use while she lives there and she takes care of the up keep and insurance. She pays for all her school expenses too. She lives only 30 minutes away so she still stops by and occasionally spends the night. She is now ending her first semester of the community college there and is on the FHE committee at the YS Branch at church. She still commutes to her movie theater job. She is doing well and enjoys being on her own.
SAVANNAH is 17, and very excited that she will finally be able to start driving. She is OBSESSED with chips and sushi, and believe me, that is not an exaggeration. She has been very busy, still doing lots of musical theatre, and is currently working on playing the role of Mrs. Potts in MYART’s production of Beauty and the Beast (the show is January 20th if you would like to go). She is constantly singing, and has even started taking a dance class to improve her skills in that as well. She is a member of The Surf City Singers show choir, the advanced class at the Academy for the Performing Arts (APA) that performs all over the county. She is very excited for her future when she finally graduates this year and goes off to college. She has been working a lot on photography and is planning on majoring and looking into more of that.
ADDISON is now 15, and always will be our favorite son. He is essentially the epitome of a boss in excelsior.(Written by him of course) He finally got a band started called “Especially the Green Ones,” and they are rocking the world one gig at a time. He is still in the MMET department at APA and working on the next show called “The Beatles vs.The Rolling Stones”. He continues to participate in shows with MYART, and works there too, as Assistant Music Director. He will be playing the Beast in their production of Beauty and the Beast in January. He spent two weeks of this summer in Italy with his Aunt Carole and Uncle George. He loved every minute of being there and hopes to continue traveling once finished with school. JOSIE is the best child EVER! (She put that in) She turned 8 this year and was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was so excited and smiled that whole day. She continues her love of animals and the outdoors. She loves to help with any project that is being done around her. She has been great with having Dina around and is very helpful and loves to play with her. Dina gets so excited when we pick up Josie from school. She loves to write letters and LOVES to receive letters back in the mail. She still struggles with pain in her knees and hips. They are extra sensitive and tender to even minor jolts. Pain medication has helped and the pain does not stop her from still being very active. Her brain is also VERY active and she always has something to say or ask! She too, is performing in “Beauty and the Beast” as a Lead Salt Shaker, who gets to fly across the stage during the song “Be Our Guest”.
