Spooky Dinner!

My friend M had us over for a "Spooky" dinner before Halloween. We even had great new names. It was a great evening...even the teenagers thought it was fun, eerie and spooky. We had yummy, spooky food in candle light and made haunted mansion houses out of graham crackers, frosting and a several candies. I love this as a new tradition. Thanks M for having us and making it a great night! It was good and gross food!

The wonderful hosts! Mummy M and Kreepy Kevin

Spooky Savannah and Jack-o-Lantern Jos

Awkward Addison and Monster Mak

Terrifying Tim and Dangerous Deb

Appetizers were: Mini-Mummies= hot dogs wrapped in dough with mustard eyeballs and
Evil Eyes
=Deviled Eggs with an olive

Main Dish was: Tarantula Tacos with all the scrapings...Fried Ants=ground beef, Crow Eyes=olives, Flesh Decay= lettuce, Blood Cells=tomatoes, Pumpkin shavings=shredded cheese, Ghost Dandruff=onions, Bat Poop=beans: with sides of Maggots= Mexican Rice and Rotten Teeth=Corn and Fresh Blood=Red Punch with Frozen Spiders in the ice. Look at the hollowed out snake she put things in!

Plate of all the good stuff...with the cool Halloween cups. There were Pumpkins, Dracula, Frankenstein, and Ghost. Plus, the plates were bats for boys and ghosts for girls.

Eyeball on a fork= a donut hole dipped in white chocolate. Pupil is a chocolate chip...the blue and red are frosting in a tube.

Kruel Kyle enjoyed the eyeball on a fork.

Jack-o-Lantern Jos helped Mummy M with the ghost story she told.

I love how all the houses came out different.

We really enjoyed having you all over this year for our spooky dinner. Maybe we can do it together again next year!
