Josie and I were dropping off Addison at the beach so he could meet up with his friend. They were going to ride the strand from Sunset Beach to the Huntington Beach Pier and back. When we got there Josie wanted to stay. I did not prepare for us to stay. I told her if we found a free parking space not to far...we would go walk by the water for awhile. Of course, when I don't want one I find one. So we get out and walk to the water. Right away she starts to pick up shells...she loves to do this. I don't want to carry them all so I tell her she can put them all on my shoes and then pick the best that we can carry to take home. At first she ran from the waves then eventually got all wet of course. Then she was ready to go!

Aren't you smart to have your camera with you all the time. I'm forever missing photo ops because the camera is at home--even when I MEANT to bring it.
I'm homesick for the beach.
Actually, I leave my camera a lot too...but I always have the camera on my phone! These pictures are taken with it!
