CHILDREN: LOVE THEM, ESPECIALLY TEENAGERS!

I have had so many thoughts going on in my head that I thought I would share. I know I enjoyed my older kids when they were young but the last few weeks the thought to go back to those days seem very inviting. I have teenagers, enough said. Whenever I was asked when they were young if I would want to go back in time and change things I never wanted to. I was happy the way things have turned out and wouldn't want to do it all again. Now...I just want to make sure everyone cherishes your kids when they are young(those memories will keep you going)...it does go fast. It seems to go faster as they get older too. It is wonderful to watch them make good decisions and use what you taught them when they were young. Things still can get pretty crazy. Prayer for guidance when your kids reach those teenage years...I sure am!

Actually saying "teenagers: enough said" isn't enough--I don't have any and haven't had any, and I don't really know what you mean.

I guess you're feeling a bit discouraged--in that case . . .

You can do it, Deb! You're a good mom, and you've been doing a good job with your kids. I don't imagine you'll suddenly stop doing a good job. As my grandpa said to me, "Keep putting one foot in front of the other."

I think that's what we're all doing anyway! :)
