Jojo and Buster start school!

The pix are from their first day but today will be their 3rd day.
Buster is enjoying school as much as any 7th grader! He is looking forward to his band class and will start on Monday hauling his guitar and amplifier again to school everyday. Of course that is his favorite class!
Jojo went to preschool last year for 3 hours M-F. This year Kindergarten is all day. So, I had talk with her to let her know that it will be much longer day for her. She said OK and was off to do whatever. When I picked her up the first day. She said she had a great day and it didn't seem long to her. It was an hour early because it was a Wednesday, 1pm. Yesterday was until 1:55, and she said that it was even a better day then the first! I just remember my other three starting the first grade and complaining the first couple of weeks that school was long. They adjusted fast enough. Maybe she just enjoys all the kids her age. She told me that some of the boys on the playground were not letting girls on the train. Of course, Jojo made sure to tell them that it was not OK to not let girls on it too! She told me yesterday that a boy was being mean and she talked to him and they started to play games and become friends.She does well at taking care of herself and others.
