Seussical the Musical! June 2008

Nanners and Buster were in a West Arts production of Seussical the Musical. It is based on several stories of Dr. Seuss's stories. Nanners played Mayzie the bird,a bird girl(who narrates some of the play). Buster played Horton the elephant, and a Wickershmn brother(monkey).They participated in ensemble dances as well. They had a great time and are always sad when a production they do comes to an end. Jojo even got to participate in this one too. She was asked to play the role of the elephant bird who hatches at the end. She was so excited and not afraid at all. She loved all the attention she got from the rest of the cast and audience. She continues to tell me how she wants it to happen all over again. Thanks so much to the staff for all they did for the kids!
